The emblem shows the cross section of nematodes, egg shell of Ascaris lumbricoides, scolex of Taenia solium, and four suckers of Taenia from outside. In the suckers, there are head of fly, metacercaria of Paragnonimus westermani, schizont of Plasmodium malariae, and cylinder and medicine pestle. Those symbolized figures represents the major concerns of the member of the Korean Society for Parasitology such as protozoa, nematode, trematode, cestode, arthropods and chemotherapy, etc.
