Welcome to the Korean Society for Parasitology (KSP)!
KSP, founded on January 15, 1959, has half century-history of academic
activity in parasitology. It has contributed in the successful control
of soil-transmitted helminthes such as Ascaris lumbricoides, Trichuris
trichiura, and hookworm in Korea, as well as in the great progress of
parasitological researches. Although KSP is a small academic society,
each member showed strenuous efforts in both researches and education,
making the society better.
The Korean Journal of Parasitology (KJP), the official journal of KSP,
has published valuable papers regarding control activities, treatment,
biochemistry, pathogenesis of parasitic infections, and so on. With the
excellent achievement, KJP was indexed in various scientific databases
including Index Medicus, PubMed, KoreaMed, Google Scholar, and Scopus.
In 2008, KJP was also included in Science Citation Index Expanded, and
faces the challenging opportunity to jump up to the best scientific journal
in parasitology.
Dear KSP member!
KSP will host 17th International Congress for Tropical Medicine and Malaria
(ICTM2008) at International Convention Center Jeju, from September 29
to October 3, 2008. Let's put together our capacity once again for successful
host of ICTM2008.
Thank you. |
